The College of Cultural and Educational Innovation was established at Wenzao Ursuline University of Language on August 1, 2013. The College consists of four departments, which are described as follows: (1) The Department of Digital Content Application and Management focuses on multimedia design, animation and game design. (2) The Department of Communication Arts emphasizes training students in broadcasting and film creation. (3) The Department of Applied Chinese focuses on cultivating students in language expression and training students in teaching Chinese as a second Language. (4) The Department of Foreign Language Instruction focuses on cultivating foreign language ability and teaching material design ability. In addition, the College concludes a center called Center For Teacher Education, which is responsible for cultivating students to become the elementary teachers.
The College also consists of three masters programs as follows:
(1) The Graduate Institute of Foreign Language Education And Cu1tural Industries.
(2) The Graduate Institute of Teaching Chinese As A Second Language.
(3) The Graduate Institute of Creative Arts Industries.
In 2019, the College contains a total of 62 teachers, 1703 university students, and 113 graduate students. The College combines culture, creativity and language, and is expected to be a unique and competitive college in Taiwan.
