Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages welcomes applications from qualified students from around the world. We are the only university in southern Taiwan that teaches foreign languages using the target language as the language of instruction. Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages has bilateral agreements with a number of universities abroad. International students are also eligible to enroll in degree studies/programs at Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages after following the appropriate application procedures.

*Our school admits international students and manages the entire recruitment process on our own. We do not authorize any external agencies, legal entities, groups, or individuals to handle the recruitment process other than promotion of the school, provision of consultation, and preparation of authenticated documents, and any other necessary procedures involved in the application process.

Financial proof (USD$3,500)

Requirements:
a. Officially offered by a bank to support an international student’s study in Taiwan.
b. A statement offered by a government, institution of higher learning or civic organization providing full scholarship or aid.
*Remarks: For Indonesian applicants, please provide the financial proof of USD 5,000 or the scholarship document from a government, institution of higher learning or civic organization when applying for visa.

Admission language requirements

Programs conducted in English:CEFR B1 or above.

Programs conducted in Chinese: A2 level or above.

Chinese Language Center

  • International students have great opportunities to learn Chinese in Wenzao since our “Chinese Language Center” is one of the best Chinese learning centers in Taiwan. The Center of Chinese Language focuses on language and cultural exchange between the Chinese and peoples from other nations. Our instructors are speakers of standard Mandarin, well-trained and highly experienced in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. With the guidance of these teachers, students soon master practical Chinese, adapt to life in Taiwan, and are able to appreciate many aspects Chinese culture. The classes we offer are varied and flexible enough to fit varied needs and schedules.
