Curriculum Design Concept

5-year Junior College: all students from the 1st to the 3rd grades shall attend the PE classes designed according to the standard PE curriculum for senior high school and that is enacted by the MOE; basic skill for each sport and contest rules will be instructed. The 4th and the 5th grade students could select their preference in groups; more exercises will be done and competition skills, matches operation as well as the international games explained and analyzed. They can choose lessons such as aerobics, swimming, tennis, basketball, volleyball, badminton, golf, softball and Taiji etc.

Day Div.: 4-year College: PE courses are arranged in two academic years; in the first year, students should understand all ball games, such as basketball, volleyball, table tennis, golf, softball; there are also physical fitness test, health management, and leisure sports in addition. In the second year, they could select their preference in groups which includes practice of basic skills, understanding of competition rules, matches operation and watching the international games. They can choose lessons such as aerobics, swimming, tennis, basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, golf, softball and Taiji etc.

2-year College: selective PE courses are arranged in one academic year that are similar to the classes provided to the 2nd grade students of 4-year College.
 Students of Div. of Continuing Education can select their preference, such as aerobics, badminton, table tennis and basketball that can be practiced in the gym.
