Since its establishment, Wenzao University has embraced the ethos of “Revere the divine, love the human” to cultivate an international, multi-language academic environment and instill holistic personal characteristics in its students. The General Education Center plays a pivotal role by offering a variety of courses that complement the curricula provided by professional disciplines. Its primary goal is to cultivate students’ competence, confidence in problem discovery and analysis, and the development of critical thinking skills. While contemporary education tends to emphasize the incubation of technical and practical knowledge, the emphasis on ethical and values-based education has diminished in college settings.
