A scholarship donation and collaboration agreement signing ceremony was held jointly by the Japanese charity NITORI International Scholarship Foundation and Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages, where NITORI announced to donate NT$1 million worth of scholarships to Wenzao’s Department of Japanese for talent cultivation and enhancement of Taiwan-Japan cultural and educational exchange.
The collaboration agreement was signed under the witness of Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages’ President Hwei-Lin Chuang and NITORI’s Chairperson and President Masatoshi Sano. In accordance with its CSR policy, the NITORI Group intends to help make dreams come true for more outstanding Taiwanese students through this collaboration, stated Mr. Sano in his speech. Wenzao’s President Chuang thanked NITORI for its generous support and stressed that the University would continue its commitment to quality education for the students, expecting them to give back to society in the future and keep this cycle of goodness going.
The Department of Japanese at Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages is dedicated to the cultivation of talents with professional Japanese language ability and intercultural communication skills. Apart from offering professional language courses and interdisciplinary knowledge, Wenzao also provides internship opportunities for students to practice what they have learnt in real-life environment, thus laying a solid foundation for their future career. The scholarships offered by NITORI International Scholarship Foundation will serve as a strong learning support for outstanding students at the Department of Japanese.
Through this collaboration agreement, Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages and NITORI International Scholarship Foundation will be jointly making a brighter future for the next generation.
