The efforts of Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages in advocating university social responsibility (USR) projects have once again been positively recognized! In the newly released 6th Global Views Monthly USR Awards 2025, the “Wenzao Immigrants Support and Empowerment USR Project (WISE-UP)” stood out from the crowd and won the Excellence Award, highlighting Wenzao’s distinguished performance in promoting social inclusiveness and intercultural exchange.
Global Views Monthly USR Awards are the most iconic social innovation awards in the country, aiming to commend universities with outstanding performance in such perspectives as social care, environmental sustainability, development for the common good of urban and rural areas, and educational innovation. Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages has always been actively devoted to USR projects. The awarded project this time – Phase 3 of the Wenzao Immigrants Support and Empowerment USR Project (WISE-UP) offers care for immigrants and migrant workers in the local areas by aligning with the local government, enterprises and community partners. The University’s resources are also integrated to develop students’ intercultural communication skills, and hence elevate students’ social impact and promote social diversity and inclusiveness through innovative teaching and practical collaboration.
