Wenzao Expands International Recruitment, Online Mandarin Platform Supports Foreign Students Studying in Taiwan

Mar 30, 2026

The Online Mandarin Teaching Center at Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages is actively advancing its international student recruitment strategy. In addition to continuing on-site recruitment efforts, the university is integrating its long-standing experience in digital teaching and overseas promotion to develop a dual-track “online + offline” international recruitment model.

By integrating social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, along with multilingual promotional materials and multimedia content, Wenzao is enhancing overseas students’ understanding of its undergraduate programs, graduate programs, and international student programs. These efforts further strengthen the university’s brand visibility and recruitment effectiveness in the global education market.

The Online Mandarin Teaching Center provides a one-stop real-time consultation service, working in coordination with the Office of International Student Affairs, which offers admission guides and related information. Together, they assist prospective international students in understanding application procedures and preparing for study in Taiwan.

In terms of market expansion, Wenzao is specifically targeting Vietnamese students by utilizing Zalo, a widely used local messaging application, to establish one-on-one consultation channels. This approach enhances real-time interaction and effectively shortens the distance between the university and potential students.

In addition, the Online Mandarin Center offers TOCFL Level A1, A2, and B1 online Mandarin courses to help students strengthen their language proficiency in advance. It also plans to host three online “Visa and Interview Skills Simulation Workshops” from June to August to comprehensively enhance students’ application readiness.
